Worked fine, until it didn’t. Now it works for a minute or two and disconnects, freezing my cam. There is a bad connection somewhere in the cable.The lighting is the reason that I've bought this webcam. Would recommend and buy it again.EDIT: The camera is working again. Turns out I needed to power cycle my docking station, which I had it plugged into (that is, unplug my station for 30 seconds). I also spoke with customer service, who had recommended ensuring I had updated Windows. All in all, it’s working again, which is great. My point below about the oversensitive light button still stands.ORIGINAL: I quite liked this camera at first. The most annoying factor was the light. Super sensitive, even if I didn't touch the on/off area. It'd turn on when I slid the privacy cover or adjusted the camera, and then it took me a lot of jabbing to cycle through the six light options to turn it off. A simple on/off button would have been much better.It's now been about four months I've been using this camera and it's just stopped working. The persistent ring light still turns on, but the image is black. I've tried plugging it into different USB ports, and it works again, but then flickers and goes to black.I love this HD webcam! I use it for group zoom calls with my gal pals who are in different parts of the USA a few days a week and I love the warm glow of the built-in light and the fact that I can use three different intensities of the cool or warm lights. The warm lighting really showcases my hair and makeup nicely and this webcam makes me feel confident that I'm putting my best face forward on these zoom calls. I'm not great with computers and I like that this is a plug in and go type of web cam that I just have to tap the webcam with my finger to go through the lighting options. Sounds like I’m speaking into a tin can through a sock.I got this because the ring light would be a huge help while I'm streaming, the only issue is, it only works like 40% of the time. It rarely works when I need it to, when it does work, it will only cycle through 2 light settings and then stops working, sometimes it works again after that and I can move 2 more ahead, sometimes it doesn't. It's okay but, I'll be investing in a new webcam soon.
