I liked everything about this tool. I've used it many times in the 3 months I've had it. Its been the make or break on many projects of mkne and made the projects 10x easier. If u work on vehicles, do your own home repairs ect you need this. This is an industrial grade tool imo. For the price I expected to be underwhelmed and at most satisfied with it. But I am more than satisfied and was very surprised with the quality snd durability of the tool. The only thing I would of done differently is I would have bought a shorter chord. I got the 10 or 15 foot cord and not once have I needed more than 3. All that extra cord is cumbersome and always in the way so I will be buying a 3 foot cord.Honestly I'm not usually impressed with products I purchase, but this camera is actually good for the cost. Ease of use is simple. Cable is firm. Both camera qualities are pretty good. Didn't even know there was a microphone with a speaker on here until I watched a video. All in all it's a good production I'll recommend..Picture is inside a turbo downpipe checking the turbine wheel for damage. Not good for drains because of the cord. It is too stiff and doesn't flex properly. It would/could be good for certain applications. The picture was clear and bright. Just wouldn't work for what I needed it for. This things awsom. I use it to locate bee hives in homes. It has a great picture and the scope light is very bright. This thing works great for the $ I have no complaintsAfter charging the battery it works flawless and has a great image, the video cable is stiff enough to work it around corners. Delivery came as predicted by seller.Sanitation issue in RV. It worked well.Works as good as higher end endoscopes!I bought this camera in an effort to find a small sewer pipe leak that was letting sewer gas into my house. It looks really good on paper, but simply doesn't work that well in drain pipes. The camera takes good pictures and video, but they don't show up as clearly on the screen on this device, as they do when downloaded onto a laptop. The cable is stiff enough to allow you to push the camera tip down a pipe, but as soon as you get to a P-trap, it gets substantially harder. Also, if the camera is riding along on the pipe itself – which it almost always does thanks to any little bend in the cable or pipe – the sharp leading edge of the camera will catch on any join in your ABS or PVC piping. But it's even worse than that. As the camera pushes along, typically against the edge of the pipe, the sharp leading edge tends to pick up any foreign matter (e.g. TP) and it collects right in front of the camera lens, which is set back about ⅛ of an inch from that leading edge. So the view becomes totally fuzzed out very quickly, and you find yourself yanking it back out to clean, or shaking it, etc.The side camera up near the tip, with its own light, is a nice feature. I thought I could use that to inspect the full circumference of each pipe joint, for example, to see if perhaps one of them had a crack or a spot that wasn't glued. To do this, I was expecting to insert the camera up to the pipe joint, then switch to the side camera, and then rotate the cable so the lens would rotate 360 degrees and let me see the entire joint. Well...great idea, but impossible to do. Once you're about 2 feet down a pipe, it's virtually impossible to rotate the cable to make that tip rotate. All that happens is that the cable starts to twist up like an old fashioned telephone cord.Over the past 2 days, I spent 3+ hours using this camera down 3 different drains, very patiently trying different methods to get better views and find the leak. In the end, I came away with nothing. This camera may work in other small space situations, but if you intend to use it for plumbing, you're going to be very disappointed and frustrated. The instructions were very good. Wasn't hard to use for a first timer.. The picture was excellent quality. I used it to look into my 5th wheel trailer hot water tank to check for scale. Worked perfect enough to tell me to blast out more water to get the remaining scale out. Next job is to check the fresh water tank to check for the unknown. The 16 foot lead is good if you need 16 feet ie: dryer vent / sewer blockage. It was quite stiff, but if you need it for that then you will be ok. For a small water heater { 6 gallon } I could really use the the 1 meter one which I will order. But I have to say, for the money it is an excellent product and I would give it 10 stars if that were available........This inspection camera is amazing. I use it for automotice applications; inspecting cylinder walls, catalytic converters, turbocharger impeller and waste gates, and more. The camera is great quality with a very clear picture. It also has a side camera so you can see straight ahead and 90° side view changed with the push of a button. The lighting on the cameras is sufficient. I prefer it over the costly big name tool truck cameras which cost 5x or more. You won't regret buying this camera.I had just purchased another brand of endoscope only to return it the day I used it due to poor quality. Purchased this one as my next choice, this one was a good choice. This is a decent camera for the price. Sure you can get one that's better but it won't be in this price range, look north of this $$. It only arrived today and I've already put it to the test, I'm mapping a route to pull new wires through my house for an upstairs reno. The cable is as rigid as probably can be, still not able to extend beyond 6 ft without collapsing so I taped it to dowels, got me to the top of the wall with ease. The camera is surprisingly clear, light is sufficient to see the path you're running. Couple nice features I didn't realize, now know they are listed in the specs sheet, the side camera is a real handy feature for 2 reasons. First I was able to use it to go between two floor joists and look back to be sure no electrical was strapped to the inside of where I needed to drill, better that than ZAPP!! Secondly the side camera is handy to use to know what's up and what's down, keep the side camera to the right the camera is upright. Final feature is the lit key pad, not a lot of keys to navigate but having them lit when working in shaded area is handy. Overall I'm impressed with this camera, it's a keeper, unless it crashes in the coming weeks. Would recommend it.I used in a few jobs and it saved me a lot of time and work. It needs some used to to adjust the direction and the focus. Sometimes you need to bend the camera cable to a certain shape before you inert it to make it easier to find what you are looking for but once you get the hang of it and you used the 2 cameras it is great .
